Bouffon site-specific spectacle, 1994
The show Castelmondo was a first breakthrough in theatrical creation in the public space in Israel – a total theatre work which created a fantastic spectacle, inspired by the four elements – earth, wind, water and fire, the name of our theatre company ARMA. The use of the given site, construction of elements and unique accessories which were built on site, created a rich world of grotesque imagery in which the audience was invited to participate in a sensual, passionate and awe-inspiring experience.
