Bouffon site-specific spectacle, 1996
This Bouffon spectacle was created for the ancient space Khan el Omdan, in the old city of Acco, using its’ rooms, clock tower and the main square. The show was created after the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and in his memory. The theme was the scapegoat, the inspiration from the Bible – the book of Leviticus and the Book of Enoch (one Apocrypha). The story is a fictional mythology, the two angels of God from the generation of the giants who were sent down to earth to meet and improve human life. While all sinned, there are those who paid the price…
