The ARMA theatre directors:                                             

Lisa Jacobson
 
Born in N.Y.  Actress, director, writer, teacher and choreographer.    Lisa Jacobson &  Gil Becher
Co-founder of ARMA Theatre, with Gil Becher, in 1990.
Education: M.A. in theatre, Tel-Aviv University (thesis-"pedagogy of Lecoq's bouffons and clowns & influence on theatre till today").
B.A. in theatre directing, Haifa University.
Dance in N.Y.C (Hose Limon) and Tel-Aviv Teachers college.
Art & painting in N.Y and Ein-Hod artists' village,
Mask design and creation at the Lassad School, Belgium.
Work experience: teacher of acting & movement for theatre, at the Tel-Aviv and Haifa Universities, Seminar Hakibutzim and Haguf theatre school workshops. Directed Projects and courses in Interdisciplinary theatre in different high-schools across Israel and Matan art summer projects.
Co-directed theatre workshops in Austria, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Poland & France.
                     
 
Gil Becher
 
Born in Israel. Actor, director, designer and acting teacher.
Education: graduate of the Jacques Lecoq School, Paris and the L.E.M workshop by Lecoq.
Hat design at the Greta De-La-Mode School, Paris.
Performed with European theatre groups such as Atrap (Belgium) and Folistic (Catalonia).
Work experience: teacher of acting at The School of Visual theatre (Jerusalem), Matan summer art projects,  Haifa University. Directed Projects and courses in Interdisciplinary theatre at many high-schools across Israel.
Teacher of Hat design at Witzo, Ascola, Shenkar and Betzalel art & design schools.
Co-founded a physical theater school (Teatron Haguf) in Tel-Aviv.
Co-directed theatre workshops in Austria, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Poland & France.
